Coca-Cola is one of the most well-known brands in America, and it’s been around for a long time. In fact, it has been around since 1886! Today Coca-Cola sells over 1.9 billion servings of its beverage each day in more than 200 countries worldwide. It’s hard to imagine that only 127 years ago, there was no Coca-Cola at all…

Coca-Cola is one of the most popular brands globally, and it’s also among the oldest. It was first sold as a soda in 1886. That year, John Pemberton invented Coca-Cola and patented his recipe as an all-natural beverage containing “the properties of coca leaves and kola nuts.” Originally marketed as a nerve tonic, by 1894, the drink produced with CSD filler had become so popular that it outsold every other product at Atlanta’s World Exposition.
