Starbucks Launches Apple Flavored Fall Drinks
Following the return of pumpkin flavour to Starbucks‘ finished line, the Starbucks coffee shop chain has introduced a new fall product with a different style: Apple Crisp Macchiato. Available hot or iced, the drinks feature a five-spice baked apple and brown sugar flavour with 2% steamed milk, espresso, caramelized five-spice apple crushed brown sugar and cinnamon. The line also includes apple maple syrup, apple doughnuts, apple pie, apple cake and apple-flavoured potato chips.
Pepsi's Mtn Dew launches new limited-edition sweet and spicy drinks
Two Pepsi brands, Mtn Dew and Cheetos, have teamed up to launch a new limited-edition sweet and tangy drink, Mtn Dew Flamin’ Hot, which combines the citrusy flavour of Mtn Dew with the tangy taste of Cheetos. According to the company, Mtn Dew Flamin’ Hot is one of Pepsi’s most exciting drinks to date.
Kendal introduces ice cream made with infant formula.
British infant formula brand Kendamil has launched an ice cream made with powdered milk, a limited-edition product designed for adults to challenge the perception that infant formula tastes “fishy” or “bitter,” Kendal said, and to restore parents’ confidence in the taste of infant formula. Skittles launches its first gummy candy product, Squishy Cloudz
Skittles, the confectionery brand of Mars Wrigley, has found its “first-ever” fudge product, Squishy Cloudz, in both fruity and sour flavours. The product combines fudge and marshmallows in the shape of a cloud, with Skittles’ signature fruit flavour.
Mars launches MilkyWay Biscuits.
Mars Wrigley has launched its newest product: MilkyWay Biscuits, inspired by its popular MilkyWay chocolate bars. And, each cookie is randomly embossed with one of four outer space designs on the surface. Each cookie is said to contain 87 calories, and each 108g package contains 12 cookies. (Source: Foodbev)
Budweiser South Africa Brewery launches double malt beer.
SOUTH African Breweries is paying tribute to 126 years of brewing history with the launch of the country’s first double malt beer, called Castle double malt. The new product joins the Castle family, including Castle Lager, Castle Alcohol-Free, Castle Lite and Castle Milk Stout. In a bold statement of pride in its local heritage, castle double malt combines two malts from South Africa, Caledon and Alrode, for the perfect combination of flavour and refreshment.
